Types of Interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting is suitable for international conferences, shareholder meetings, investor relations briefings, seminars, large meetings, and other situations where communication needs to flow in real time.
Because simultaneous interpreting requires intense concentration, interpreters normally work in teams and rotate at regular intervals.

The appropriate number of interpreters may vary depending on the subject matter, schedule, meeting format, and level of technical complexity.
■ Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is well suited to business meetings, negotiations, training sessions, technical briefings, site visits, factory tours, interviews, and smaller meetings.
The speaker pauses at appropriate intervals while the interpreter conveys the message in the other language.

This guideline does not apply to escort interpreting, where requirements may vary depending on the schedule and assignment.
■ Whispering Interpreting
Whispering interpreting, also known as chuchotage, is suitable for small meetings or situations where only one or a few participants require interpretation.
The interpreter sits or stands near the listener and interprets quietly in real time.
■ Escort Interpreting
Escort interpreting is suitable for trade shows, factory tours, site visits, company visits, and support for overseas guests.
The interpreter accompanies the client and provides interpreting as needed throughout the schedule.
■ Online Interpreting
We also provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting for online meetings using platforms such as Zoom.
Online interpreting can be used for meetings with overseas offices, global training sessions, internal meetings, webinars, technical seminars, and other remote events.
Depending on the meeting format, we can advise on interpreter channels, audio setup, speaker management, and other practical arrangements.

Once an interpreter booking has been confirmed, the following cancellation fees apply, including changes to the scheduled date or time.
